6Percent Red Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, £12.50
I love the thought of opening a bottle of red wine post-bedtime but don’t love the thought of feeling groggy or worse, waking up with a headache the next morning. So when I heard about 6PERCENT wine, I was intrigued! 6PERCENT is a delicious Merlot & Cabernet Sauvignon blend with a taste that will leave you wanting more (it did me). Think red berries, black cherries and blackcurrent, all complemented by mocha oak and vanilla flavours, a strong yet delicate palette which was absolutely delicious with steak, by the way. But the best part about it? It’s half the alcohol content and half the calories! Each bottle is 6% alcohol content, without compromising on taste and flavour. I genuinely couldn’t tell that there was less alcohol compared to my usual bottle of red, because the taste was just so delicious. One of my new favourite wines which I highly urge you to try! *kindly gifted, but genuine review and product pick as I loved it!
TOTEME High Rise Tapered Jeans, £260
I am always on the lookout for my next pair of jeans. My daily outfit pretty much consists of a simple white t-shirt and a nice pair of jeans that can easily dressed up or down with jewellery or a blazer, depending on activities that day. These TOTEME jeans are my new favourite find! The dark denim colour gives them a chic look, and the fit is perfect for every day. Ones to keep in your wardrobe forever! Also love that they are made of 100% organic cotton. Find them here.
New Balance 1906L Metallic Paneled Mesh Loafers, £120
These might be a controversial pick of the week, but I find myself a bit obsessed with the New Balance loafers trainers hybrid. Are they trainers? Are they loafers? I’m not sure, but I think they would look very cute with jeans or a dress this summer, and what I do know is that I bet they are very comfortable when you spend your days running after a toddler. Find them here.
Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair, from £55
I have the best memories of going to the beauty counter with my mother as a child, as she purchased her Estée Lauder products. The gorgeous smells, the beautifully packed makeup and skincare, I couldn’t wait to grow up one day and be a customer. Estée Lauder’s best-selling product, the Advanced Night Repair serum, is a cult product and for good reason. It works! Estée Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair serum works by using a combination of antioxidants and the brand’s exclusive ChronoluxCB™ technology to repair skin overnight. It helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and uneven skin tone, promoting the skin’s natural repair process while you sleep. The formula supports hydration, boosts radiance, and strengthens the skin's barrier. Find it here.
Mango Zipped Knit Cardigan, £45.99
Mango has been so great recently. From their collaboration with Victoria Beckham, to now coming out with lots of great classic pieces, they are fast becoming my high street pick. This zipped cardigan is so chic and great for every day. It can easily be paired with jeans, and throw on a blazer and some loafers, and it can be dressed up. I especially like the fact that it is super breastfeeding friendly because of the zipper. Find it here.
BaByliss Pro Titanium Expression Deep Waver, £32.90 (was £70)
I never have time to really style my hair, but when I do, I always use a deep waver. It creates beautiful natural waves on my hair really quickly. With boho being a big trend at the moment, it’s the perfect time to give it a try. Also, this BaByliss waver is now 53% off! Find it here.
Amandaland (Motherland spinoff ), on BBC One and BBC iPlayer from 5th February
Calling all Motherland fans! There’s a new spinoff of the show coming out on Wednesday 5th February on BBC. It follows Amanda (Lucy Punch) post her divorce, who has had to downsize and up sticks to South Harlesden, or as her Estate Agent calls it, SoHa. With both her boys now at secondary school, Amanda has to try and get her head around raising teenagers, and dealing with modern motherhood horrors like teenage drinking, fake Instagram accounts and eco-anxiety. Joanna Lumley stars as her mum, who she had a complicated relationship with but now they need each other more than ever. Very excited to watch this! Watch it on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Wednesday 5th February.
